About
Valla Canyon lies within Küre Mountains National Park, 26 kilometres from the Pınarbaşı district centre. It begins where the Devrekani stream meets the Kanlıçay and runs for 12 kilometres in the direction of Cide.
There is no turning back once you enter: the route cannot be left without walking all 12 kilometres of it, which makes Valla suitable only for experienced, guided groups.
The canyon walk needs a day of its own, and simply getting from the hotel to its mouth is over two hours each way.
