By car
Cide is reached along the D010 Black Sea coast road. The road follows the shoreline and is a winding one, so journeys can take longer than the distance suggests — and more care is needed after dark.
By air
The district has no airport. The nearest is Kastamonu Airport, from where the rest of the journey is by road.
